Instructions
- Make caramel: In a sauce pan add sugar and water heat it and swirl the pan to help it to melt down(don't stir ).
- Let the caramel come to boil allow it to bubble up until it turns golden brown.Then pour this caramel in a greased baking pan and spread it evenly keep aside.
- Whisk eggs, add sugar and vanilla beat again until it light and fluffy,then add milk and mix well.
- Then pour this mixture into prepared pan through a strainer and cover the pan with aluminium foil.
- Heat water in a steamer and place the custard pan in the steamer, close with lid.Once steam comes,simmer for 10 to 12minutes, then switch off flame and leave it for another 5 minutes.
- Open the lid and allow it to cool down to room temperature.Then keep in fridge and serve chilled.
- Enjoy delicious caramel custard!!!!!!!!!!!!.

TIPS:
you can also bake this in oven,by using water bath method.
If it is over cooked,it will curdle.
Caramel custard is also known as caramel flan.
