Healthy wheat flour string hoppers(healthy gothambu idiyappam)
Hi friends,
Today i am sharing a healthy recipe,wheat string hoppers(gothambu idiyappam).It is very delicious,healthy and easy to make.
Instructions
Take wheat flour in a pan,and dry roast in medium flame until it gets nice aroma then add salt mix well and switch off the flame.
Now pour boiling water over it and mix well with a wooden spatula until it comes together as a dough.
Sprinkle sesame oil over it, cover the pan with a lid and let it rest for 10 minutes.
In a bowl add grated coconut and carrot mix well and keep aside.
Lightly grease the idli mould with oil,then put 1 tbsp of coconut carrot mixture in to it.
Take idiyappam maker,fill the dough and squeeze it on idli mould and steam for 10-12 minutes.
Wheat idiyappam is ready,serve with coconut milk or veg/non veg curries.
