Ingredients
- 2 cups Rice flour
- 2 cups Water
- Salt to taste
- 1 no Egg
- Oil for frying
FOR FILLING:
- 11/2 cup Grated coconut
- 7 tbsps Sugar
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

Instructions
- Boil 2 cup of water in a sauce pan adding salt. Zainu.
- When it is boil, reduce the flame add rice flour and mix it evenly with a spoon,.Keep it covered for a minute,Switch off the flame.
- When the dough still warm, knead it well with your hands, dipping your hands in slightly beaten egg while kneading.
- Make lemon sized balls from the kneaded dough.
- Roll the balls to get thin round shape (refer photo)using chapatti press.
- Refer pics for instruction clarity.Mix all the ingredients for filling and keep aside.
- Keep rice chapatti on poovada mold and place the filling in the center and mold it(as shown in the photo)
- Deep fry the molded poovada until golden brown.
- Serve poovada with tea or coffee. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
