Ingredients
FOR MARINATION:
- 1/2 tbsp Kashmir chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp Fennel seed powder
- 2 nos Garlic cloves
- 8 nos Shallots
- 2 sprigs Curry leaves
- Salt to taste

Instructions
- Clean and wash the fish, make some deep slits on both sides.
- Make a paste with all marination ingredients and marinate the fish keep aside for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the fish until dark golden brown,then flip over gently and fry until it is done.
- Serve hot with sliced onion and lime.
