Ingredients
- 1 kg Chicken
- 3 cups Rice
- 6 cups Water
- 3 nos Chopped onions
- 10 nos Green chilly
- 10 nos garlic
- Ginger 1 medium piece
- 3 nos Chopped tomato
- 2 tbsps Coriander powder
- 1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup Chopped cilantro
- 1/2 cup Chopped mint leaves
- 1/4 cup Oil
- 2 nos Cardamom pod
- 4 nos Cloves
- 1 nos Cinnamon stick
- 1/4 tsp Fennel seeds
- 1 no Dry lemon

Instructions
- Clean and cut the chicken in to medium size and wash well.
- Heat oil in a vessel add fennel seed,cardamom,cloves and cinnamon stick stir then add onion crushed ginger,garlic and green chilly saute for until onion is golden brown.
- Now add chopped tomatoes, coriander powder,turmeric powder stir and add chicken mix well then add 3cups of water, stir well cover with lid and cook in medium flame .
- When chicken is half cooked add chopped cilantro and mint leaves mix and cook for 3 minutes.Then add rice, salt remaining water and dry lemon mix well ,cover the vessel and cook until it is done.
- Easy &tasty chicken rice is ready! serve hot with pickle,papad and raita.
