Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Payasam rice (unangallari)
- 1 tsp Fenugreek seed (uluva)
- 1/2 tsp Ashali (cress seed)
- Salt to taste
FOR GRINDING:
- 1/4 cup Grated coconut
- 1 tsp Cumin seed
- 5 nos Shallots
- 1/2 tsp Coriander seed
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
FOR TEMPERING:
- 4 nos Chopped shallots
- 1/2 tbsp Ghee

Instructions
- Wash and cook the rice along with fenugreek seeds,ashali,salt and required water until it is done.
- Grind all above mentioned ingredients along with some water to a fine paste.
- Once the rice is done,add ground paste and mix well.When it is start to boil off the flame.
- Heat ghee in a pan add chopped shallots and saute until it is golden brown and garnish.
- Healthy and tasty jeeraka kanji is ready.Enjoy!!!!!!!!!.
