Ingredients
- 1 kg Squid (koonthal,kanava)
- 4 nos Onion thinly sliced
- 2 nos Tomato(small) diced
- 3 nos Green chilly slit
- 11/2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 2 sprigs Curry leaves
- 4 tbsps Coconut oil
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
- 1 tsp Fennal seed powder
- Salt to taste
FOR MARINATION:
- 1 tsp Kashmir chilly powder
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp Fennel seed powder
- Salt to taste

Instructions
- Clean and wash the squid (koonthal or kanava) well and cut into rings.
- Pat dry the squid with kitchen tissue and marinate with above mentioned ingredients, keep aside for 15 minutes.
- Heat coconut oil in a pan and fry the squid.
- When it is half fried then add ginger garlic paste stir for a few seconds,
- Add onion,tomato, green chillies and curry leaves, saute the mixture by adding little salt, cover with a lid for 5 minutes.
- Add coriander powder,fennel seed powder and pepper powder in to it and mix well, cook further till it becomes dry, sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and curry leaves.
- Tasty squid roast is ready, serve hot with rice or chappati.
