Ingredients
- 8 to 10 nos Nhali poovan(Rasakadali) (kerala small banana)
- 200 g Jaggery
- 150 g Chopped shallots
- 2 cups Coconut milk
- 2 cups Milk
- 4 tbsp Sugar
- 1 cup Poha/beaten rice/aval
- 1 tbsp Ginger juice
- Lemon juice 11/2lemon
- Salt a pinch
FOR GARNISHING:
- 3 tbsp Chopped dates
- 3 tbsp chopped cashew
- 3 tbsp Beaten rice

Instructions
- Take a bowl add peeled bananas and smash well, keep aside.
- In a sauce pan add jaggery and 1/4 cup water, then heat it until jaggery is melt strain it and set aside.
- In a bowl, add chopped onion and sugar knead until the onion juice is started to beck.
- Then add onion mixture,coconut milk and melted jaggery into smashed banana and mix well.
- Now add ginger juice,lemon juice and salt stir well,then add milk and flatten rice combine well.
- Take a long glass, pour Malabar kochi koya into the glass and garnish with garnishing ingredients.
- Malabar kochi koya is ready.............Enjoy!!!!!
