Ingredients
- 1/2 kg Squid(koonthal)
- as required Coconut oil for fry
- 3 tbsps Grated coconut
- 2 sprigs Curry leaves
FOR MARINATION
- 11/2 tsp Kashmir chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Fennel seed
- 1/2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 8 nos Shallots
- 2 springles Curry leaves
- to taste Salt

Instructions
- Clean and wash the squid (kanava or koonthal) well,cut into rings and pat dry with kitchen tissue.
- Grind all marination ingredients and marinate the squid, keep aside for 15minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the squid until it is done.
- Transfer the fried squid in a serving plate keep aside.
- In the same oil add grated coconut and curry leaves then fry them until golden brown.
- Sprinkle fried coconut and curry leaves on the top of squid and mix well.
