In a bowl add sliced onion,chopped green chilly,ginger,curry leaves and salt then squeeze well with hands until the onion juice start to beck.
Now add rice flour and gram flour little by little and combine well.(the onion juice is enough to bind the ingredients together,but if you feel that the mixture is too dry then sprinkle little water and mix well).The mixture should be thick,you should be able to shape them into patties.
Heat oil in a wok, take a small portion mixture in your palm and press them your finger and shape them into patties,slide them into hot oil and deep fry until golden and crispy.
Remove them from oil and place on paper towel to drain excess oil.
